The 115 network: Successful federal cooperation
115 is a joint voluntary project by the Federal Government, the federal states and municipalities. They are responsible for the 115 service and develop the 115 network as equal partners.
The project is jointly funded by the Federal Government and the states. Municipalities provide the decentralized infrastructure.
The 115 network aims at maintaining and expanding the 115 service at a high quality level. All levels of government are involved in the bodies of the 115 network, which are elected every two years.
